Creating the “GLAM”

Whether you’re looking at a successful tech company or a successful restaurant, it is evident that there is a trend in businesses which have achieved a certain level of success, in comparison to the businesses that have not.  The successful ones have done an exceptional job creating products, services and environments that their customers (and employees) love to be a part of, day in and day out. If you feel or have already proven that your business aligns with this trend, CONGRATULATIONS!

You have successfully positioned your product and/or service properly. What I mean by this, is that you have your stuff together and organized; you have made the correct aspects of your business glamorous and appealing; and you have given your customers and employees a sense of belonging which, in essence, has helped you to glorify your product, service and workplace. Because of all this, your can sit back and be confident that your customers will say, “This Grande, non-fat, half sweet, Tazo Chai Tea Latte is worth $4.95 and has just made my day so much better.”

Another great example of a company that has followed the conventions of making their services and workplace glamorous is Google.  Google has created a culture and following that people everywhere want to be part of due to their creative and organized solutions, as well as the positive, upbeat working environment they have created for their employees. The general public is awed by the creativity and effectiveness of Google’s products/solutions which are glorified by the organization and the family of workers. Google is aimed towards organizing the worlds information and making it universally accessible and useful. Google has demonstrated that creating a sparkle in their workplace and products/services is an asset, priority and extremely valuable for the longevity of the business.

In conclusion, being a business owner, you should aim to offer your customers something different and unique, making it shine for them. Believe me, its not easy.  Starbucks, Google and even Apple definitely have put a lot of time, money and effort to create what they have created. BizON is committed to traveling down the same path in order to create services and workplace environments that sparkle and shine for our valued members and employees.
