Community Involvement
Community involvement is extremely important to everyone at BizON because it provides us with the opportunity to get to know our customers and their needs. This year, we decided to participate in the 2015 Aurora street festival and it was definitely a blast! There were so many interesting small businesses showcased and so many people (over 50,000 – 93% of the population of Aurora, Ontario, Canada, that says something about having a strong support system) who came out to support the festival and all of its activities.
As you already know, BizON is an online marketplace and community where many small, independent business owners go to either buy a business suitable to their lifestyle or sell a business they worked so hard to establish. This is one of the many reasons why we feel that it is our duty to get involved in chambers across Canada and the US because we believe in the power of small businesses and entrepreneurship. We love to hear the stories of how these businesses began, what they are currently doing and possibly if and why they are ready to move on to the next chapter in their life by exiting their business. These types of interactions and conversations, like those engaged in at the festival plays a large role in increasing awareness of the BizON brand and essentially helps build our business through meeting our members on a granular level. BizON members (and potential members) are truly amazing in many ways; their strength, passion and vision for a better future is beyond inspiring. Whether we are speaking with local business brokers/realtors, local business owners or local franchise owners – the conversation is always a unique and interesting tale of a journey surrounded by creation – my personal passion.
At BizON we look at ourselves as a marketplace, community and search engine that leads our members to achieve financial freedom, mental freedom and true work/life balance by providing them with the opportunity to sell a business easily or buy a business they are truly passionate about.
So, for all you BizON members who have recently bought a business – Get out there and get involved with your community! It’s a great way to meet your customers and understand who they are and what they really need!
