It’s an honour to give our next spotlight to Michael John Soragnese, founder of at Render Media Inc. located in Concord, Ontario, Canada. See his Q&A below:
Why did you decide to be a business owner?
I was inspired at a very young age by family members who had shown continuous business success over the years. As a teenager, I began to take my passions very seriously, working hard to improve and convert them into entrepreneurial pursuits. All of these experiences eventually led me to where I am now with Render Media Inc.
In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of being a business owner?
Simply put, the ups and downs go hand in hand, a necessary evil if you will. In general, the cons tend to be those short term pains which are inevitable when growing a business while the pros reflect more of the long term gains, the much deserved fruits of very hard labour over time.
What are some hurdles you had to overcome while being a business owner?
Business is very competitive, and as such it necessarily follows that you will encounter extremely competitive individuals. As a result, some of my biggest hurdles stemmed from dealing with individuals who would take competition to the extreme and take advantage of others. This is very short term thinking and I believe every truly successful entrepreneur learns how to eliminate these types of individuals from their lives and aligns themselves with other likeminded individuals in order to achieve mutually beneficial successes; great success cannot be built on the back of one individual. 
What is your vision and exit strategy for the business?
As Render Media Inc. continues to grow and diversify, we are strategically aligning ourselves for potential merges and acquisitions that would make sense in the future.
